Tilly’s Dreambones!
As well as being a sparkly mummy, I’m also a fur mummy to a very pampered rescue dog called Tilly (you can read Tilly’s story here) and as with any pampered pooch treats are very important and only the best will do for my little princess.
I have never given Tilly any rawhide treats, I was told a few horror stories about them by our vet when Tilly had her first check up. So mainly Tilly has antlers to chew on and we buy different healthy treats depending on where we are shopping at the time. I had seen rawhide alternatives but have never tried them on Tilly.
Dream Bone by Webbox are one of the healthy and safer alternatives to traditional rawhide treats. Made from fresh meats (chicken or beef) sweet potato and other vegetables. Treats are also low in fat and wheat and gluten free, all things that are important to today’s dog owners.
Dream bones sent Tilly a lovely selection of their treats to try, and try them she did. She had beef and vegetable mini bones, chicken stuffed twists with peanut butter, chicken and veg mini bones and beef stuffed twists with sweet potato. She particularly liked the beef mini bones.
They lasted a really long time, Tilly seemed to be chomping on them on and off all day which i thought was a good thing, you dont want a chewy treat that only lasts 5mins!
The other good thing about these treats was the size, they are big enough for Tilly to hold safely in her mouth and for Mimi to give to Tilly, although I think she rather wanted them for herself! – I have to say as dog treats go these did look and smell quiet appetising! But I wont be trying them myself and I have spent a lot of time discouraging a certain little lady!
Webbox dreambones are available to buy from Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Ocado, amazon and selected local stockests
