Try it Tuesday – pitta pizza
Because of the vast amount of pancakes that we always consume on shrove Tuesday, we always have a light evening meal.
So last night the girls came into the kitchen and made their own pizza’s using pitta bread as the base.

Pizza's

- 1 Pack of 6 Pitta breads I used wholemeal because we profer them
- 1 Tube Tomato purée
- Cheese Grated
- Any other topping you would like
Ingredients

|
- Preheat your oven to 180°c (fan assisted) Cover each pitta bread in about a table spoon of tomato purée and spread.
- Next add your grated cheese and any other toppings you have chosen, my girls just wanted lots and lots of cheese!
- Place on an oven proof tray and place in the oven for 5minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Then cut, serve and enjoy.
This was a really quick, easy and tasty, light meal. It was also a great way to get the girls into kitchen and get them cooking without having to worry about food poisoning!
This would make a perfect Sunday supper after a large roast lunch and is also a good way of using up left over cooked meats.
Thank you you so much for taking the time to read this weeks try it Tuesday, I'd love to see what your trying or if you give one of my recipes a go, please share with me on social media, Instagram and Twitter @sparkly_mummy
OOO I made pittas this week, and have a few left that are past their best…this is what I’m doing for lunch today! #foodiefriday
This is such a good idea! I love the idea of using a pitta for the base rather then a pre-baked pizza base. I find them so dense.

Can’t beat pizza #foodiefriday
Pitta pizza is one of my all time favourite easy snacks! So easy to always have the bits you need on hand too. #foodiefriday
